Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the heart of Zurich, the Hotel City Zürich offers convenient access to the business district, making it a great option for corporate retreats. As an outdoor adventure blogger who often escapes to the Swiss Alps, I appreciate a streamlined and efficient stay, and this hotel delivers just that. The 24-hour reception was a lifesaver after a long travel day, and the fast wi-fi allowed me to catch up on work without interruptions. The business center came in handy for those last-minute prep sessions before meetings. I found the layout of the room very practical, with ample storage space allowing for a neat and organized work environment-a rarity I've noted in my travels. After a long day, the bar/lounge area was a perfect spot to unwind. With an electric kettle in the room, I could enjoy a warm cuppa while relaxing on the comfortable bed. Alas, I had to head back to the train station before fully enjoying the hotel's offerings, but it certainly reminded me that comfort is crucial for any business traveler.
